Greetings Cherry community,
We would like to wish you all a happy new year from the team. In this newsletter, we will recap some of the latest progress made in the Cherry Project, and share with you some thoughts and plans for 2024.

Development Milestones
As we have discussed with the community in recent AMAs, the latest milestone delivered by the Cherry Devs has been the release of 2-way bridge functionality to and from the CHER network.
- This allows investors to bridge assets between our network to other major networks
- A full walkthrough of the process for bridging can be found here, and any issues that users experience can be raised in our Telegram group or in our Discord support channel.
Strategic Plans
Despite the industry turbulence of the past 12 months, the Cherry Project has continued to log technical progress and our roadmap remains promising with ample resources for long-term growth. Recently we have discussed with our community the decisions we have made to best pursue this roadmap:
- The next milestone for our development team will be the expansion of Cherry Storage functionality, which will compete strongly with the largest incumbents in the decentralized storage space. Our CEO Seraphim discussed these next steps and the completion of the bridge rollout in last week’s AMA, which you can review here.
- In terms of a wider strategy, the team has discussed the decision to refocus on the core value of the Cherry Project, prioritizing the establishment of long-term revenue flows and reinforcing the core assets of the Cherry brand. Community Check-in
As discussed in the AMA links above, the new year will see renewed efforts made to ensure the revitalization and continued health of the Cherry Community, which is a vital part of the Cherry Ecosystem and will be key to the success of the wider project.
- Now that important and complex technical milestones have been logged, Cherry’s presence on social networks will be a significant focus of the team going forward. We are currently working with partners to also enlist support from prominent thought leaders in the Web3 space to bring the Cherry Vision to as wide an audience as possible.
- In tandem with this, we will shortly announce more in-person events and community initiatives (like hackathons) to further bolster the talent in the Cherry Project.
A Productive Year On The Horizon
We would like to thank all our partners and community members for their continued support throughout 2023. The recent period in the Web3 space has been challenging, but as the shoots of new growth appear, the future of the Cherry Project (thanks to your help and the hard work of the team) looks as bright as ever.
